GG’s Yard at Laggan is a truly breathtaking venue situated just outside Gatehouse of Fleet. From the contemporary interior to the spectacular sea views, GG’s Yard is one of the most popular venues in Dumfries & Galloway.

Ceremonies usually take place in a smaller room off to the side which retains some of the amazing features of the original barn. It’s then through to the main space for your meal and evening reception. The main space is a fantastic area for your evening reception with plenty of space for all your guests. There’s also a few different lounge areas which are great for those who are looking for a quiet area to chat.

Ross was the DJ at our wedding on Saturday and We highly recommend him. He is such a great guy and provided us with excellent DJ services. The music was fantastic, playing alot of our requests and filling in with songs that suited our music tastes. He even allowed a close friend to use some of his system to play us some songs on guitar. Ross was both the piper and DJ for our wedding at Hetland Hall recently. Not only is he a thoroughly lovely guy, he’s also very professional and provided a brilliant service to us on the day with both his piping and his DJing. On the lead up to the wedding we had the option for us and our guests to make advance requests for the night with the online client portal, a great feature included in the service. On the night, he had everyone up dancing with a mix of old and new tracks. We even had a bit of a modern ceilidh set and danced the Gay Gordon’s to Gangnam style!! We had a brilliant time and would highly recommended Ross for any event. Thank you.

Ross arranged a virtual ceilidh for the Trophy d’Ecosse synchronized skating competition. The event couldn’t go ahead this year but we wanted our post competition party to still happen. Ross arranged dance cards in advance so everyone could learn the dances and he led proceedings over zoom on the night. The best Saturday night we have all had in lockdown! Thank you Ross.
