Chris & Zoe’s Amazing Wedding
We had an awesome night at Dalwinton Estate Weddings near Dumfries for Chris and Zoe’s Wedding.
Chris and Zoe first got in touch nearly three years ago to discuss the plans for their big day in April 2020. They were really keen for a mix of ceilidh and disco so our Premium Package was perfect for them. Everything was coming together nicely and we were so excited for their Wedding, then Covid hit – they had no option but to postpone. After a few reschedules, we were delighted to be able to celebrate with them in October 2021 and it was definitely worth the wait!
After their Ceremony in the beautiful church at Dalswinton, Chris and Zoe moved to the marquee for the Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception.
We kicked off the evening with the First Dance and Chris and Zoe chose the fantastic Ed Sheeran song, Tenerife Sea. With their guests all around the dance floor, it was such a perfect moment.

After the First Dance, we went straight into some party tunes before switching to a couple of ceilidh dances. We find it’s always good to have a ceilidh dance early on as it is a great way to break the ice and lets the photographer get some awesome dance shots.
Chris and Zoe made the most of our Online Planner and requested all their favourite songs in advance of the big day. This meant we arrived knowing exactly what they wanted to hear. They also picked out a song to dedicate to each of their Wedding Party which was a lovely idea.

For their Last Song, Chris and Zoe finished on a high with Loch Lomond. That wasn’t enough for their guests though – they wanted one more tune!
